Diabetic Management System

Works great for me on the go, gives a place to put my neddles and it's better than carrying a big sharp container with you.

This is a great idea, obviously or i would not have bought it. But it misses the mark, entirely.First the good. This is a solid plastic. And really is as shown. Down to the color.Now the bad. This is built cheaply. The solid plastic does not mean a real plastic hinge, rather the "hinge" is the piece of plastic that wears out after ten or twenty uses. Worse yet the belt clips is removable, which sounds good except that it will not stay. So, it isn't even useful as a belt clip. You could lose your medication, and should a child see this on the street they could die. And you WOULD lose it if you used it as the advertising says this is for.Useful, but not the easy EDC you expect. So elsewhere.

It works for what it is for. The clip on the back is completely useless. It doesn't stay on the case. The cap on one of the tubes doesn't stay securely closed. It works for putting in a purse but is too big to put in a pocket and as I said the clip does not work at all.

I'm pretty disappointed in this purchase. Unfortunately, these are very poorly constructed. The plastic is so flimsy that that the needle compartments wouldn't stay closed and the belt clip just fell off. I've ended up returning them.I will also echo others' complaints that they end up being a lot bulkier than you expect, especially if you're having to carry two or three of them at a time along with a glucose monitor. Good idea, but poor execution all around.

I've purchased and received the product exactly as described. It functions well as designed. I am posting this review NOT to discredit/knock this product but to share my experience with it.I am not using it anymore after carrying it for only a few days. One of the problem I experienced was that this is quite bulky and takes up too much space in my carrying bag. As it is long as well as wide, it sticks out and blocks access to anything else in my bag.It would be more useful to me if there are only one container for the needles and it was divided in two for new and used needles. For daily use, I only need to carry 3 needles. I also don't need the pill case that is built into this product. I think this product is trying to be too many things at once.As an insulin user, I carry insulin pen, needles, glucose-meter, strips, lancet, and emergency glucose shots and tablets. Being a man, I don't carry a purse, so I carry a small fanny pack instead. In this scenario, space is at premium. Extra bulk this product takes made it my supplies to not fit in my bag.My solution was, to use two 35mm film canisters for new and used needles. Then I just toss in rest of the supplies, including the insulin pen.This is not a bad product. If you carry a big bag, I'm sure it'll be convenient. But I find it too bulky and does more than I need it to do. So I chose a simpler solution. Yes, I still have this product but not using it at all.I hope this is useful information to someone.

Super product for traveling. I used this on a recent vacation and worked great as a temporary sharps container. I easily stored a week's worth of used lancets and pen needles until I could return home and dispose of them properly. The lids were hard to open when I first unboxed this product, but they quickly get worn in and work just great now.

Worked well while it lasted. Broke after only 2-3 weeks

I have been using one of these for several years. Wasn't too sure about at first but it has become an indispensable part of my daily diabetes care. It holds one Lantus pen securely and if I use the pill compartment to hold 3 more pen needles I can store about six days worth of pen needles. About the only thing I didnt like was the belt clip could use a little more work. I keep it beside my bed or in my pack if I go traveling. I bought another one to have on hand as this one is about three or so years old and I wanted a back up. So far this one keeps chugging right along.
