Everything works like it should. Fit and finish is good where it matters. There is some minor roughness around the outside of the hinge, but that can be fixed with a little bit of filing. The feel of the finger rings is good. The fit of the jaws is good. Built right. Easy to use. Grip is better than average.

These hemostats were excellent. I use them in electronics, and biological applications. Their functionality and durability works quite well for the extreme environment I work in. Out in the field I use them to hold vegetation out of the way, in order to make observations and photograph insects without worrying about wind blowing objects in the way. There's a nice variety in the packet so that there's always a clamp available for most situations.

These tools are for hobby use only. The locking rachet will not catch on the first tooth. This matters for surgery. The surface wire brush finish is very rough. Autoclaving might not get them sterile. But, the jaws (not carbide) close nicely with good meshing of the teeth. Not a surgical toll but a good hobbyist set.

These hemostats are very sturdy compared to ones I had when I was working working (Retired RN). They grip well and are are perfect for removing the spout from liquid detergent bottles when you want to get every last drop. You get an extra capful when you remove the spout and empty the bottle. I think they're a great deal for the money!

I was very glad to find this set. They have come on very handy at my sewing machine and in my sewing basket and crafting area. They grip well, are pretty light-weight - even the larger ones - and are handy in a variety of lengths for various uses.

I have had one of these for years to use while sewing. I decided I needed more. These are great. There are two of each type and shape (some have curved tips). Will make my sewing easier. they seem to be well made. I will edit this if I find out differently.
