What is expiration on this? I’d like to order but need fresh.

Really good question. I would ask the vendor. I purchased this and other German cookies and candies last year and, of those I didn't give as gifts, all were fresh tasting. I gave this one as a gift to a German-born neighbor. No complaints. And she's pretty straightforward.
